Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation rescues kids in crisis.
Blue Dragon is a 10+ year old organisation who is successfully
impacting the lives of Vietnam’s most vulnerable children.
Their focus is children ! Helping street kids, trafficked kids
kids wit a disability and rural kids.
They take on the most complicated of all cases including rescuing
kids who have been trafficked.

IN VIETNAM, BLUE DRAGON HAS:
- Sent 3,050 kids back to school and training
- Provided accommodation to 199 girls and boys
- Served 358,419 meals
- Built or repaired 78 homes for families
- Distributed 38,050 litres of milk
- Handed out 51,184 kilos of rice
- Reunited 222 runaway children with their families
- Taken 1,211 kids to a doctor or hospital
- Put 6 teens through drug rehab
- Obtained legal registration papers for 3,856 children
- Rescued 352 trafficked children
- Placed 169 teens in jobs
- Played 1,625 games of soccer!
FOUNDER STORY + HISTORY
Blue Dragon – Founder Michael Brosowski
Started by Australian Michael Brosowski who after 2 months
of his teaching job as a Teacher at a Hanoi’s National
University finds himself teaching English to the Street
Kids who have ended up as shoe shine boys roaming the
streets offering their services. With Pham Sy Chung a
university student offer weekly classes to 5-10 boys, start a football team and as more children come
for help they start Blue Dragon.
Now in 2014 their organisation is a highly respected for
the work they do in the most complicated cases (on the planet)
such as rescuing trafficked kids, others include street kids,
kids with disabilities and rural kids.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT BLUE DRAGON
There are numerous ways to help Blue Dragon be it from your
own country or while travelling through Hanoi.
They clearly state that from every $1 given, 84 cents goes
directly to the children’s need, 8 cents is for Administration
and 8 cents is invested for future projects.

at school, start a fundraising event, volunteer or give gifts

65 dedicated staff supports the 1,600 children that at one
time they directly support. These dedicated staff help solve
a huge range of complex cases that require help Social Workers,
